Common across Southeast Asia, night markets are now gaining popularity across the U.S. The 626 Night Market in Southern California and the Atlanta International Night Market both draw over 75,000 attendees over a weekend.
The Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce is excited to partner with Austin Community College to host the first authentic night market in Central Texas. Our goal is to provide a platform for existing and new entrepreneurs to market test dishes that are not currently offered, and showcase some of the amazing Asian Pacific American (APA) performers on our stage.
We are laying out the night market as a walk through Asia, from the middle east, into the south and southeast regions, and ending in east Asia. This will provide attendees a visceral experience of the size of the continent and the immense variety of its food culture, thus giving an insight into the APA residents who make up 8 percent of our community.
Be a part of this inaugural event and help us to support APA entrepreneurs and creatives, and grow your reputation with this demographic. There are several sponsorship levels, including for each of the geographical regions. We are also open to your ideas.
